Newark – Just before 12:30 this afternoon, approximately a dozen New Castle County Police officers, along with ambulance crews from the Christiana Fire Company responded to the Elm Luxury Apartments on Coventry Lane.
Neighbors in the complex said that they were told that there may have been a barricaded person in one of the apartments. Police have not confirmed that to be the case.
At around 1:00 officers and ambulance crews began leaving the scene. It’s not clear if anyone was injured or if any arrest were made.
