Police Identify Man Found Shot To Death This Morning

Wilmington Police have identified this morning’s homicide victim as BLAYTON PALMER, 25-years old, of New Castle.

Wilmington Police are currently investigating a homicide in the 2300 block of N. Market Street, according to a WPD Spokeswoman Stephanie Castellani.

At approximately 4:03 am, this morning, Wednesday, October 17, 2018, police officers were flagged down in reference to a person who was possibly suffering from a gunshot wound.

Upon their arrival, officers located the victim who appeared to have been shot. That victim later succumbed to their injuries, according to Castellani.
