Just In: Firefighter’s Quick Response Saves Newark Home

Newark – At 2:33 this afternoon firefighter from Aetna, Hose, Hook, and Ladder, along with crews from around New Castle County and Chester County, Pennsylvania were dispatched to the unit block of Hidden Valley Drive for reports of a house fire.

Crews arrived within minutes and reported that they didn’t see smoke or flames from the exterior of the home. As crews entered the home they reported fire inside a bathroom. Crews worked quickly to extinguish the fire before it could spread to other areas of the home.

Fire Marshals have responded to the scene.
