Update: Over 1500 Of Delaware Residents Without Power, Others Restored

Power outages up and down the state have thrown hundreds into the dark.

Delaware Electric CO-OP is reporting over 400 without power in parts of Smyrna, Dover, and Milford.

The Lewes Board Of Public Works reported the following on their website. “We are aware that there is an electric outage and we are working to restore it as soon as possible. No further details are available at this time.”

Delmarva Power is reporting multiple outages across the state but those outages don’t seem to be affecting a large number of customers. Elkton, Md. outage is affecting over 300 Customers.

Update: Smyrna and Dover power restored.

Update: Over 1,500 customers without power west of Bethany Beach.

Update: Middletown Police are reporting some traffic lights are out.
