Five People Seriously Injured In Talleyville Crash

At approximately 10:15 last evening, New Castle County Paramedics and surrounding fire departments were dispatched to the 4000 block of Concord Pike for a motor vehicle crash involving multiple patients.

Upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found 4 patients needing advanced life support care.

The first patient, approximately a 30-year-old-male, suffered injuries to his head and face. The patient was in critical condition at the time of transport.

The second patient, a 35-year-old-male, suffered injuries to his chest. The patient was in critical condition at the time of transport.

The third patient, a 33-year-old-female, suffered internal and leg injuries. The patient was in serious condition at the time of transport.

The fourth patient, a 37-year-old-male, suffered injuries to his abdomen. The patient was in serious condition at the time of transport.

The patients were treated on scene and transported to Christiana Hospital via fire department ambulances accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics.

The fifth patient, a 28-year-old-male, suffered injuries to his back. The patient was transported to Christiana Hospital via St. Francis EMS ambulance in care of emergency medical technicians. The patient was in stable condition at the time of transport.

Delaware State Police in investigating the crash.
