Accident Near Hockessin Was Delaware’s Third Motorcycle Crash On Sunday

At approximately 6:40 yesterday evening, New Castle County Paramedics and Hockessin Fire Company were dispatched to the intersection of Creek Road and Ashland Clinton School Road for a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.

Upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found the patient, an 18-year-old-male in care of emergency medical technicians. The patient suffered injuries to his arm was transported to Christiana Hospital via Hockessin Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics, according to Paramedic Corporal Yvonne Russell. The patient was in serious condition at the time of transport.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.

This crash was the third accident involving a motorcycle in Delaware on Sunday.
