Woman Sought In Tuesday Morning Bank Robbery

Rehoboth Beach- The Delaware State Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred this morning and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the pictured suspect, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Melissa Jaffe.

Jaffe said the incident occurred on July 23, 2019, at approximately 9:58 a.m., when Troopers were dispatched to the M&T Bank located at 19511 Camelot Drive, for a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, Troopers made contact with an employee who advised that a female suspect had entered the bank and displayed a note demanding money. The employee complied with the demand and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect who then fled. No weapon was ever displayed or implied and there were no injuries as a result of the incident.

The suspect depicted in the surveillance image was described as a white female, approximately 5’04” to 5’05” tall and 130 lbs.
