Just In: Road Reopens After Rollover Crash In Georgetown

Georgetown – Just before 11:00 this morning rescue crews from the Georgetown Fire Company, Sussex County Medics, and Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 2 were dispatched to the SB lanes of Dupont Blvd in the area of North Bedford Street for reports of a rollover crash with injuries.

The first arriving crews alerted dispatchers that medics and Trooper 2 would not be needed and they were recalled.

One patient was evaluated at the scene, however, they refused treatment and were not transported.

The roadway was restricted while crews worked to clear the scene. It has since been fully reopened.
