Just In: Three Injured In Rollover Crash Thursday Morning

Georgetown – Just after 7:00 this morning Rescue crews from the Millsboro and Georgetown Fire Companies along with Sussex County Medic, and Trooper 4 were dispatched to Patriots Way and Zoar Road for a motor vehicle crash with injuries.

Upon their arrival crews reported that two vehicles were involved in the accident and one was overturned with a subject trapped.

The road was closed by the first arriving units and area fire police were requested to respond.

Shortly after evaluating the scene Command requested additional crews to respond.

Trooper 2 was recalled shortly after their arrival on scene.

A total of three patients have been transported to area hospitals with undetermined injuries.

The Delaware State Police issued the following statement: “Traffic Advisory-Zoar rd by Patriots Way is closed due to a crash.”
