Wilmington Police Arrest Bear Man On Drug Charges, Released On Unsecured Bail

Wilmington Police have arrested a Bear man after recovering 48 bags of heroin, according to Police.

Officials said on August 8 at approximately 1:07 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime and Vice Division were in the 800 block of Kirkwood Street when they observed a man engaged in a drug transaction.

Police stopped 30-year-old Zachary Daniels, a Bear resident, and located 48 bags of heroin, according to police. He was taken into custody without incident and has been charged with possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $250 unsecured bail.
