Head-On Collision Sends Two To Hospital Sunday Morning

Milford – Just before 2:00 this morning rescue crews from the Carlisle and Houston Fire Companies responded to the 2400 block of Canterbury Road, northwest if Milford, for reports of a head-on collision with injuries.

While en route, crews were told that three people were possibly injured in the crash.

Upon their arrival, crews reported that there was no entrapment and began evaluating the patients.

Command then requested Fire Police and ordered  Canterbury Road closed.

Two patients were transported to Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus in Milford via Houston Vol. Fire Company ambulance A52 with undetermined injuries.

At this time it is unclear if a third patient was injured in the crash. Carlisle Fire Company Ambulance B42 did remain on scene for an extended period of time.

State Police are investigating the crash.
