Two Shootings In Kent County, Woman Struck By Bullet

The Delaware State Police are currently investigating two shooting incidents that occurred last evening, according to Director of Public Information, Sergeant Richard Bratz.

Bratz said the first incident occurred on September 16, 2019, at approximately 8:57 p.m., when Troopers were dispatched to the 3100 block of Forrest Avenue in Dover for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Troopers learned that three individuals were in the garage area of the residence when they heard multiple shots being fired. One of the individuals, a 27-year-old female was struck by a bullet and was transported to a local area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

It was also reported during this same timeframe that shots were heard being fired in the area of the 1900 block of Taraila Road in Hartly. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
