TRAFFIC ALERT – Bridge Maintenance Will Require Lane Closures on Route 896 NB/SB
WHEN: 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on October 21, 2019, through October 25, 2019, pending weather.
WHERE: Route 896 Northbound/Southbound between Chesapeake City Road and Route 71, Bear.
WHAT: DelDOT’s contractor will be doing maintenance of the bridge beams.
Motorists can anticipate daytime intermittent lane closures on Route 896.
Motorists should be aware that construction personnel and equipment will be operating in close proximity to the travel lanes and anticipate lane shifts.
