Delmarva Power Offers Customers Giving And Gifting Programs This Holiday Season

Programs help bring customers a brighter winter and holiday season

This holiday season, Delmarva Power hopes to bring out the spirit of giving in local communities through its Good Neighbor Energy Fund and Gift of Energy programs. From helping someone pay their energy bills to giving someone the gift of energy, these programs have your holiday giving options covered.

Good Neighbor Energy Fund

Through the Good Neighbor Energy Fund, customers can donate to local organizations to provide payment assistance to low-income customers struggling to pay their winter energy bills. Donations are made to The Salvation Army and other non-profits in the Delmarva Power service area and disbursed to qualified recipients. In addition to the donations received from customers, Delmarva Power matches $1 for every $3 received, up to $70,000 annually. Since 2014, Delmarva Power and its customers have donated approximately $700,000 to help those in need across Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

For more information, or to make a contribution, customers can learn more online at (Delaware) or (Maryland).

Gift of Energy

For those looking for a last-minute holiday gift idea, Delmarva Power offers the Gift of Energy. The Gift of Energy allows anyone to purchase credits for Delmarva Power customers—including family and friends—that go toward their winter energy bills. The Gift of Energy is an easy way to treat someone you care for this holiday season – all from the comfort of your home or personal winter wonderland. All that is needed is the customer’s name and address or phone number associated with the account. The gift will appear on the recipient’s future energy bill as a credit. Those interested in making a purchase can either do so online, by calling 800-375-7117 or visiting their nearest Delmarva Power payment center.

Delmarva Power is a unit of Exelon Corporation (Nasdaq: EXC), the nation’s leading energy provider, with approximately 10 million customers. Delmarva Power provides safe and reliable energy service to approximately 527,000 electric customers in Delaware and Maryland and approximately 134,000 natural gas customers in northern Delaware.
