Newark – The Delaware State Police have arrested one suspect and identified a second suspect in connection with a felony assault, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Melissa Jaffe.
Jaffe said the incident occurred on December 26, 2019, at approximately 7:00 p.m., at the Christina Mall in Newark, in the food court area. Four suspects assaulted a 16-year-old male victim and fled the scene, said Jaffe. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local area hospital.

Through investigative measures, Troopers identified two of the suspects, 19-year-old Jy-Kerre Kilson of Bear, DE and 18-year-old Tarell Berry of Wilmington, DE. Kilson was arrested on January 14, 2020 and charged with the following:
Assault Second Degree
Conspiracy Second Degree
Disorderly Conduct
Kilson was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and released on his own recognizance.
Troopers have been unable to locate Tarell Berry. They have also been unable to identify the remaining two suspects, who are currently wanted on the same charges.

Newark- The Delaware State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the pictured suspects who are wanted in connection with a felony assault.
The incident occurred on December 26, 2019, at approximately 7:00 p.m., at the Christina Mall in Newark, in the food court area. The four suspects assaulted a 16-year-old male victim and fled the scene, according to police. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local area hospital.
The suspects are four males between the ages of 15-20 years old.
