Just In: Three To Trauma Center After Vehicle Crashes Into Tree Near Milltown

Wilmington – At around 9:30 this morning rescue crews from the Mill Creek Fire Company along with New Castle County Paramedics responded to the 2000 block of Milltown Road for reports of a high-velocity motor vehicle crash with multiple patients.

While en route crews learned that the vehicle had struck a tree.

Upon arrival, crews reported that a total of three patients were being evaluated and requested a total of three ambulances.

Two patients have been transported to A.I. DuPont and a third was transported to the Trauma Center at Christiana Hospital.

Early reports from the scene indicate that the driver may have lost control of the vehicle, slide off the road and impacted the tree at approximately 50 MPH.
