Probation And Parole Search Leads To Stash Of Cash, Cocaine

Two Dover-area men are under investigation for multiple drug charges after a search Friday, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

At approximately 12:26, on Friday Dover Police Officers, assisting Delaware Probation and Parole with an administrative search responded to a hotel in the 1700 Block of N. DuPont Highway and observed Cory Caldwell (35) and Vincent Walls (39) leaving the area.

When a search of the hotel room the two men were in resulted in the seizure of 415.7 grams of cocaine, 2.73 grams of heroin, 4.9 grams of marijuana, 2 ecstasy pills, drug paraphernalia, and $4,528 in drug proceeds, according to Hoffman. Both were taken into custody without incident.

Cory Caldwell and Vincent Walls were both committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $28,100 cash bonds on the following offenses:
-Possession of Cocaine
-Possession of Heroin
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine
-Possession of MDMA
-Possession of Marijuana
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
-Drug Paraphernalia
