Four Hospitalized After Serious Crash In New Castle, One Reported Ejected

New Castle – Just before 10:00 Monday evening rescue crews from the Delaware City Fire Company along with crews from Christiana, Goodwill, Wilmington Manor, New Castle County Paramedics, Delaware State Police and Trooper 4 were dispatched to the intersection of S Dupont Highway at Hamburg Road for a motor vehicle accident.

While en route to the scene crews learned that one patient was trapped and another patient was ejected from a vehicle.

Upon arrival, Delaware City Command ordered a total of four ambulances and requested an ETA on Paramedics.

It’s believed that a total of four patients were transported to the hospital with paramedics accompanying at least two of the patients.

Delaware State Police are investigating.
