Four Reportedly Stabbed Overnight Near Newport

Wilmington –  At around 11:30 Sunday evening rescue crews from the Minquas Fire Company along with New Castle County Paramedics and Police responded to a home in the 100 block of Maple Hill Road near Newport for reports of a stabbing.

While en route to the scene crews learned that four people had been stabbed at the home according to initial radio reports.

Follow on reports indicated that three of the four patients were in very serious condition and were transported by ambulance with medics accompanying. A fourth patient was reportedly transported by EMTs.

New Castle County Police have yet to release official details surrounding the incident.
