Rider Hospitalized After Motorcycle Crash In Middletown

Just before 6:00 Wednesday evening New Castle County Paramedics and Odessa Fire Company were dispatched to the intersection of DuPont Parkway and Marl Pit Road in Middletown for a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle, according to Paramedic Corporal Yvonne Russell.

Russell said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found one patient, a 38-year-old-male, in care of emergency medical technicians. The patient was removed from his motorcycle and suffered injuries to his head, shoulder, and chest. The patient was treated on scene and transported to Christiana Hospital via Odessa Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics. The patient was in stable condition at the time of transport.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
