Multiple Shots Fired At Concord Pike Hotel

Wilmington- The Delaware State Police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred late this afternoon, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Melissa Jaffe.

Jaffe said the preliminary investigation into this incident occurred on July 29, 2020, at approximately 4:27 p.m., when Troopers were dispatched to the Days Inn located at 5209 Concord Pike, Wilmington, for a report of shots being fired. Upon arrival, several shell casings were located in the parking lot.

Radio reports indicate that multiple shots were fired. At this time there have been no reports of any injuries and there is no suspect information, said Jaffe.
