Thieves Break Into School In Newark, Steal School Bus

On July 8, 2020, a burglary was reported at the Newark Center for Creative Learning on Phillips Avenue in Newark.

The investigation revealed that sometime between 07/07/20 at 1500 hours and 07/08/20 at 0825 hours, unknown suspect(s) forcibly entered the school through a window. Once inside, the suspect(s) removed the keys to a van parked in the parking lot of the school.

The suspect(s) fled in one of the school’s vans. The van is a silver 2015 Ford Transit with Delaware tag PC465163. The van is clearly marked with the words “School Students” and the name of the school on the rear of the bus, along with the number “3” on the left side of the back window.
