Troopers: Teen Found Stabbed In Dover Sunday

Dover- The Delaware State Police are investigating a report of a stabbing incident that occurred last evening, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Melissa Jaffe.

Jaffe said the incident occurred on July 19, 2020, at approximately 9:21 p.m., when Troopers responded to the unit block of Webbs Lane, for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, Troopers located a 17-year-old male victim inside an apartment with a stab wound. Further investigation indicated that the victim engaged in an altercation with an unknown male subject. The altercation turned physical and the suspect stabbed the victim once in the abdomen, according to Jaffe.

The victim was transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There is no suspect information at this time.
