New Castle- Delaware State Police is conducting a shooting investigation that occurred in the parking lot of Casablanca Restaurant located at 4010 North DuPont Highway, New Castle. As a result of the investigation, one lane of northbound North DuPont Highway is currently closed between Memorial Drive and I-495. This location is less than half a mile from the New Castle Couty Police Headquarters building.
At this early stage, we have not been able to determine if any medical response was made.
As of 7:00 am police were still on the scene investigating.
