Early Wednesday morning rescue crews from the Christiana Fire Company, along with New Castle County Paramedics responded to a shooting on Route 40 in Bear.
Just after 12:00 police officers and medical personal were alerted to a shooting at the Wawa located in Glendale Plaza Shopping Center at 1100 Pulaski Highway.
Initial reports from the scene indicate that at least one person was critically injured as a result of the shooting.
