Reports: Possible Swatting Incident Draws Police To Smyrna Home Friday Morning

Smyrna – Just after 11:00 Friday morning, Delaware State Police were contacted by Smyrna Police Dispatch regarding a possible double shooting at a home, according to reports from the scene.

As Troopers and Smyrna officers responded to the home in the 800 block of Hickory Ridge Road they were being told that a teen had shot both of her parents and was still armed with a gun.

Working with dispatchers, alert Troopers determine that the incident was a possible swatting incident and were able to bring the situation under control upon their arrival, according to radio traffic.
