High-Velocity Crash Sends One To Hospital Sunday Morning

A  twenty-year-old man is recovering in the hospital after a  crash early Sunday, according to New Castle County Paramedics Assistant PIO Emily Mallon.

Mallon said at approximately 12:35 a.m. New Castle County Paramedics, Wilmington Manor Fire Company, and Delaware Air Guard Fire Department were dispatched to East Basin Road at the North Dupont Highway on-ramp in New Castle for reports of a high-velocity motor vehicle collision.

Upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found one patient. A 20-year-old male was treated for injuries to his lower extremities. He was transported to Christiana Hospital via Wilmington Manor Fire Company ambulance in stable condition.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
