Vehicle Into A Tree Near Elsmere, Driver Airlifted To The Trauma Center

Just before 11:15 Friday morning rescue crews from the Elsmere and Cranston Fire Companies along with New Castle County Paramedics and Police and Trooper 4 were dispatched to the 800 N DuPont Road for reports of a vehicle accident with entrapment.

While en route crews learned the accident was on the Ed Oliver Golf Club course. First Arriving reported that the driver was not trapped and recalled the Cranston Heights rescue.

Shortly after recalling Cranston Heights, Elsmere Command alerted dispatch that Trooper 4 would be utilized for transport and advised the pilot to land on the nearby golf course.

Crews on scene treated that patient prior to loading them onto Trooper 4 for transport to Christiana Hospital with undetermined injuries.
