At around 9:00 Saturday morning rescue crews responded to Country Haven Lane east of Dover for a shooting. Initial reports indicate that one person was transported to the hospital.
At around 11:30 DelDOT posted a message alerting motorists that Dyke Branch Road was closed due to police activity.
“DYKE BRANCH RD IS CLOSED BETWEEN E DENNEYS RD AND WHEEL OF FORTUNE RD DUE TO POLICE ACTIVITY.”
