Two Young People Shot Saturday In Wilmington

Wilmington Police are investigating shooting incidents that left two young people hospitalized Saturday.

The first shooting occurred at approximately 6:54 p.m. in the 1700 block of West 5th Street. Officials said they a 26-year-old male gunshot victim who was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Later on Saturday at approximately 11:03 p.m. police responded to the 300 block of South Broom Street where they found a 17-year-old female gunshot victim, She was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
