Officials Update Monday Night Crash In Talleyville

At approximately 8:37 pm, New Castle County Paramedics, Talleyville Fire Company,
Brandywine Hundred Fire Company, and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched to the
area 3400 of Concord Pike for a motor vehicle collision, reported with 1 subject trapped, according to NCCEMS Assistant PIO Oliver Kocher.

Upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found one patient, an 86-year-old male, in care of Talleyville Fire Company EMTs. The patient suffered injuries to his head, with suspected internal injuries to his torso The patient was treated on scene and transported to Christiana Hospital via Delaware State Police helicopter. The patient was in serious condition at the time of transport.

Kocher did not mention if the driver of the second vehicle suffered any injuries.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
