Investigator Say Miller’s Ale House Fire Was Arson

The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s office has determined that the November 24, 2021 fire at the Miller’s Ale House was intentionally started, according to Assistant State Fire Marshal Michael Chionchio.

Chionchio said state fire investigators are conducting a criminal investigation attempting to find those responsible. A surveillance camera caught the suspect on the property prior to and during the fire said Chionchio.

The restaurant, located at 1323 Churchmans Road in the Center Pointe Plaza, reopened today after making some repairs

No one was injured in the blaze that caused an estimated $50,000 in damage.
