Police: Man Shot On Main Street In Smyrna Refuses Medical Treatment, Uncooperative With Investigators

Smyrna Police detectives are investigating a Friday evening shooting on S Main Sreet.

Police said On Friday 12/17/21 at approximately 10:15, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 100 block of S Main Street.

Arriving officers located a 28-year-old male victim suffering from non-life-threatening injuries to his lower extremities. Officers rendered aid until the arrival of EMS.

The victim refused to be transported to the hospital and at this time is being uncooperative with investigators. Detectives interviewed several potential witnesses, and this investigation remains active.
