Happening Now: Route 896 Closed In Bear Due To Fatal Pedestrian Accident

Just after 7:00 Friday evening rescue crews responded to Route 896 at Madelyn Drive for reports of two pedestrians struck.

Arriving crews found one patient that has succumbed to their injuries and has ordered the road closed.

Route 896 is closed and is expected to remain close for several hours as Troopers investigate.
