Two Hospitalized After Two Separate Shootings On Wednesday

Wilmington Police are investigating two shootings that occurred in less than an hour and a half of each other on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said at approximately 2:00 they located a 23-year-old male gunshot victim in the 600 block of North Jefferson Street, he was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

 

As investigators were on scene at the Jefferson Street shooting a 36-year-old man was shot in the 500 block of South Van Buren Street. That shooting occurred at approximately 3:24. The man was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Both incidents remain under investigation and further details will be released when possible.
