Officers responded to the area and located the 36-year-old victim in the roadway suffering injuries from the collision. The vehicle swerved in an attempt to avoid striking the victim however he could not stop in time to avoid the collision. The vehicle began to slow down and pull to the left side of the roadway, where the 37-year-old man was standing on his bicycle in the median, and struck him in the rear tire, ejecting him from the bike. The 37-year-old man was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
