Two Facing Charges After Shots Fired Released On Unsecured Bail

Wilmington Police arrested two men on gun charges following a shots fired incident police said Thursday.

Officials said on March 3 at approximately 5:11 p.m., police were dispatched to the 500 block of South Heald Street in reference to a shots fired incident. Responding officers made contact with 22-year-old Andre Parker and 33-year-old Eric Totston, and took them into custody without incident. Police recovered a 9mm handgun and a 10mm handgun, as well as additional ammunition officials said. No injuries resulted from the shots fired incident.

Parker has been charged with Conspiracy (Second Degree) and Discharging a Firearm on a City Street

He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was released on $2,500 unsecured bail.

Totston has been charged with Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited and Discharging a Firearm on a City Street

He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was released on $10,100 unsecured bail.
