Local Author Book Signing Event Set For End Of April

Local Milton author Karl Wegener is making a stop at Browseabout Books in Rehoboth Beach to sign copies of his new novel, “Grown Men Cry Out at Night,” on April 30.

Wegener brings a unique perspective to the Cold-War-era espionage thriller, as the story’s setting — Bremen, Germany in 1946 — is based on true events. Drawing from his experiences as a Russian linguist in the U.S. Army Security Agency, Wegener tells the tale of ex-soldier turned counterintelligence agent who discovers that his own family was involved in war crimes of their own.

An unsettling truth has come to light as a U.S. Army counterintelligence agent pursues the people responsible for the deaths of thousands of enslaved workers at a covert submarine construction site known as the Valentin Bunker

Join Wegener for this special event between 11am and 1pm on April 30th to ask questions and learn more about this captivating novel!
