Two Injured In Motorcycle Crash Thursday

At approximately 3:49 p.m. the New Castle County Paramedics were requested to respond to the 100 block of North Dupont Highway, in New Castle, for the report of a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.

Paramedic spokeswoman S/Sergeant Abigail Haas said upon arrival of the Paramedics, a two-vehicle collision between a sedan and motorcycle was located. There were two resulting patients from the collision, both of which were traveling on the motorcycle.
• The 71-year-old male operator of the motorcycle was treated for abrasions and a possible head injury.
He was transported to the Christiana Hospital, in Stanton, in serious, but stable condition.
• The 65-year-old female passenger of the motorcycle was treated for abrasions and a possible head
injury. She was transported to the Christiana Hosptial in serious, but stable condition.
The Delaware State Police is investigating the incident.
