Police: Party Goers Tight-Lipped After Gunfire Erupts

The Delaware State Police are currently conducting an investigation into a shooting incident that took place in Seaford last night.

At around 11:29 p.m. on June 2, 2023, authorities received multiple reports of gunfire at a residence located on North Front Street Extension in Seaford.

Troopers responded to the scene and discovered that a large gathering had taken place at the house, attracting numerous attendees. Despite their efforts to gather details about the shooting, individuals present at the scene were uncooperative and unwilling to share any information according to police.

As the crowd began to disperse, law enforcement officers discovered several bullet casings in the vicinity. No injuries have been reported, and neither any potential suspects nor victims have been identified thus far.

Troop 5 continues to actively investigate this incident. In an effort to gather more information, investigators are urging anyone with relevant details regarding this case to come forward and contact Corporal N. Mongiello at 302-337-1090.
