Two More Shot In Wilmington Sunday

Wilmington was struck by a violent incident earlier today. At approximately 2:34 p.m., gunshots rang out in the 200 block of North Scott Street, prompting the response of local law enforcement. The Wilmington Police Department immediately dispatched officers to the scene, launching an investigation into the incident.

Upon arrival, the police discovered two gunshot victims. A 68-year-old female was found suffering from a gunshot wound who was transported to a nearby hospital. Her condition was reported as stable. Additionally, a 21-year-old male gunshot victim had also made his way to the hospital, and he too was listed in stable condition.

These two shootings are the latest in a string of shootings that have plagued the city in recent days

The Wilmington Police Department has yet to release further details about the incident, and it is expected that additional information will be made available to the public as the investigation progresses officials said Sunday.
