Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Tuesday night in the 100 block of North Harrison Street,
Officials said at approximately 11:36 p.m., officers arrived at the scene to find a 44-year-old male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to the hospital in critical condition, the victim succumbed to his injuries. The identity of the victim has not been released at this time, pending the notification of his family members.
As of now, no specific details regarding the motive or potential suspects have been released.
