A motorcycle collision in the early hours of July 2, 2023, resulted in serious injuries for a rider on Route 1 in Christiana. The New Castle County Paramedics, along with the Christiana Fire Company and the Minquas Fire Company, responded to the incident.
At approximately 12:38 a.m., emergency personnel arrived at the scene to find a 30-year-old male lying in the grassy median, having been separated from his motorcycle. The paramedics immediately assessed the situation and provided the injured man with medical attention. He was found to have sustained injuries to his head, extremities, and possibly internal injuries.
The injured rider was transported to Christiana Hospital in Stanton, where he remains in critical condition
The Delaware State Police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
