Shooting Late Sunday In Dover Leaves One Hospitalized

Just after 11:00 on a Sunday evening, Kent County rescue crews responded to a shooting incident in the 200 block of North West Street in Dover.

As they were en route, they received information that the police were requesting a rapid response due to the patient’s condition. They also learned that a police officer had applied a tourniquet to the victim’s lower extremity.

The patient was transported to the hospital by ambulance, however, details surrounding the shooting and the patient’s condition have not been released by authorities at this time.
