On July 13th, 2023, the Milford Police Department’s Drug Unit wrapped up a multiple-week investigation, with the arrest of two.
Officials said the investigation culminated with a search warrant executed at a residence on Winward Boulevard, resulting in the apprehension of Major S. Foster, a 24-year-old Milford man, and Alayjia Diaz, a 23-year-old from Dover woman.
The search of the home resulted in the seizure of heroin, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia police said Friday.
Foster is facing a series of charges including Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Following his arrest, Foster appeared before the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where his bail was set at $11,400.00 secured. He was subsequently committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution, and a Preliminary Hearing is scheduled to take place later this month at the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas.
Diaz has been charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. She appeared before the Justice of the Peace Court #2 and was subsequently released on her own recognizance.
Similar to Mr. Foster, Ms. Diaz is also scheduled to appear at the Sussex Court of Common Pleas later this month. D
