Driver Goes Off Road Before Hitting Trees And Rolling Over

At approximately 1:47 p.m., emergency response teams were summoned to the 3700 block of Summit Bridge Road in Middletown. Initial reports indicated that a motor vehicle collision involving a rollover had occurred at that location.

New Castle County Paramedics along with crews from Middletown arrived to find a single-vehicle collision. The collision involved a pickup truck that had veered off the roadway and collided with a line of trees, resulting in a rollover.

The driver, a 19-year-old male, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Christiana Hospital in Stanton for further evaluation. He was listed in stable condition.
