Fire Destroys Garage In Frankford Early Tuesday

Firefighters from several Sussex County fire companies responded to a garage fire in the 30000 block of Omar Road in Frankford early Tuesday.

Upon arrival, crews reported that the structure was fully engulfed and began their attack on the blaze. As they worked to bring the fire under control, crews reported that the structure had partially collapsed.

The incident that began at 12:17 AM today, was brought under control fairly quickly after about 20 minutes. Crews remained on scene for about two hours for overhaul and cleaning up hot spots.
