Delaware State Police Troop 7 is currently conducting an investigation into a violent assault that occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Officials said the incident took place just outside Dewey Beach, involving a 22-year-old male who was the victim of a severe attack resulting in serious injuries. The victim sustained fractures to both his jaw and nose and was subsequently transported to a hospital where he has undergone extensive medical treatment.
The assault transpired at approximately 1:30 a.m. and on Route 1, in the vicinity of Fifer’s Farm Kitchen, which is situated on the stretch known as the “Forgotten Mile.” Law enforcement authorities from Troop 7 are actively pursuing various leads in their efforts to apprehend the individual or individuals responsible for this incident.
