On September 14, 2023, at approximately 11:50 AM, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Kirkwood Highway and Milltown Road.
Crews from the New Castle County Paramedics, Mill Creek Fire Company, and Cranston Heights Fire Company responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, emergency crews found a 34-year-old female who had been struck by a vehicle. The New Castle County Paramedics evaluated her condition and determined that her injuries were non-life-threatening.
The patient was subsequently transported to Christiana Hospital in stable condition via Cranston Heights Fire Company ambulance.
The Delaware State Police are investigating the accident.
