On Saturday, November 4, 2023, at approximately 7:40 AM, a vehicular accident involving pedestrians occurred at the intersection of John J Williams Highway and Hitchens Lane in Rehoboth Beach.
Rescue crews from the Rehoboth Beach Fire Company along with Sussex County Paramedics were dispatched to the scene and are currently working to treat the patient.
Originally dispatched as a pedestrian struck call, however crews arrived an learned that the cyclist crashed and suffered non-live threatening injures.
